Clay Printer / Rough Surface & Bubbles
How to fix rough surfaces and bubbles on clay 3D printed parts?
Knead clay thoroughly to remove air bubbles before printing. Adjust layer height to 0.3-0.4mm and increase extrusion multiplier to 105%-110%. Maintain printing environment humidity at 40-60% to prevent rapid surface drying. If bubbles persist, reduce printing speed to allow full clay filling.
Important: Most rough surfaces and bubbles are caused by trapped air in the clay or too-fast drying. Proper kneading and controlled humidity are the most effective preventive measures.
