Purchaser: School of Fine Arts, Fujian Polytechnic Normal University Procurement
Procurement EquipmentοΌYQTechDev ZCC3040 Ceramic Clay 3D Printer
Procurement BackgroundοΌTo meet the teaching and research needs of ceramic art design, break the technical limitations of traditional hand-making, and build a digital ceramic art creation lab, the school procures professional ceramic 3D printing equipment.
Real Application Achievements
- Intangible Cultural Heritage Reproduction
In collaboration with inheritors of Dehua Kiln in Fujian, the equipment enables 1:1 reproduction of Qing Dynasty blue-and-white porcelain sculptures. With a printing layer thickness of 0.2mm and a detail restoration rate of up to 98%, its efficiency is 4 times higher than manual reproduction. So far, 6 precious pieces have been digitally preserved.
- Teaching Implementation
It has become the core equipment for the compulsory course Digital Ceramic Forming Technology, supporting practical teaching for 30 students per batch. Students can independently print relief vases and special-shaped tea sets with dimensions of 300mm×270mm×430mm. The equipment operates 10 hours a day on average without failures.
- Cost Control
The utilization rate of clay reaches 92%, saving 55% of material costs compared to traditional manual billet making. Design schemes can be iterated quickly without mold making.
